Once upon a time A Giant tree, called Alfred, lived with his friends in the forest.
His friends included the slimy green elf-like creature called Mark (no reference to anyone else called Mark)(I like him anyway so thats cool!).
An Old Horse called Englebert, a parrot called Penelope and Albert the Red eyed Guinea pig.
After blowing in the acid rain, coughing on smokey air,
Hearing a deafening rumbling near a mountain highway called B4235 the forest dwellors became agitated.
Clambering into their newly converted, air conditioned cave they found that Alfred could,nt get in, apart from a branch or two down the ventilation shaft B.
A dude called A. Hasslemealot started in pounding the front door and screaming, "I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll cough your door in!...
Well the agitated occupants of the air conditioned cave looked at one another, keeping their voices ever so quiet, they whispered, lets give him a dose of the Marshall!!!
"I'll plug the Ampeg and Phase Linear's in too!" said Englebert! then with a quick reach the Les Paul was attatched
and ready to feedback exactly as Mark opened the door,
"WWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEaaaaaaaaaaaooooooooowuwuwuwuwuwuwu" was the closest aproximation of this double humbuckered White Les paul
screaming valve tone explosion. The capable hoofs of Englebert,"Naayyy Nayyyy"Hunkingchester(the draughthorse)strummed the strings in a manner akin to Hendrix or Satriani.
Then he stopped and in a loud deep horse type kinda voice said
"not by the hair on my blistered chin shall you attempt to walk on rudely in!"
Now A.Hasslemealot was quite taken back by this and reached into his pocket and produced a weird squealing noise not unlike a crab being boiled alive.
And then...then ....the forest was suddenly dark as the darkest night, as quiet as a stranded Harley rider without his mates to make him feel tough.

Hi folks been nearly eight long weeks and I've been making a lot of new music (two full albums).I played my first live gig (in quite a while) in Horsham Victoria and it went well, it's great to be back into live playing.I've joined with some very talented young musicians who approached me with a view to playing some live shows together, and I will give you more information as time goes on.
I'd forgotton how loud a rock band is in full flight, but it's great to bounce ideas off other muso's, especially Lee the drummer I'm currently working with, young, enthusiastic, and way too loud (ha ha).I'm having to build a PA to give the vocalist a chance of being heard (Out comes the Phase Linear!)
I'm also experimenting with enclosures that produce sub audible sound which does effect the perception of presence.I ran the first PA prototype enclosure (Speaker Box)down to 15HZ with a pure tone (sine wave)and it does work well. The only draw back is its as big as the old horn loaded designs of yesteryear. Lucky they are all young and fit!
I'll post some links as soon as we have recorded some stuff (starting next week).
See you all soon ( if I don't get too busy)
PS heres a new song (at top) only rough mind:
